Cherish a Child Foundation is an NGO seeking to impact into children Godly and morals values for them to become exceptional and well-cultured citizens of their society, as they live their dreams and purposes on earth.
Cherish a Child Foundation identified street children as vulnerable and needed the most attention. We have over the years made steps to inspire, counsel, empower and support street children. We have also embarked on trips to reintegrate children back to their good homes.
We have come to understand that, majority of the street children have homes yet come to the streets for different reasons. Some of these reasons involves poverty, lack of parental or family support, peer influence, rejection, lack of affection & belonging and mental health problems resulting from the below causes;

- childhood abuse, trauma, or neglect.
- social isolation or loneliness.
- experiencing discrimination and stigma
- social disadvantage, poverty or debt.
- bereavement (losing someone close to them)
